Travelling to Liverpool by train
Liverpool, Lime Street Station, will be closed for refurbishment during the Airmic Conference. However, travelling to the conference centre will still be straight forward. All trains coming into Liverpool will now stop at Liverpool South Parkway, this will be 15 mins earlier than the original journey to Lime Street.
Once at South Parkway station, there are three options available:
1. Switch trains to Liverpool City Centre, (10mins journey) and then take a taxi from the city centre to the ACC (another 5min journey) or you can walk to the ACC (15 min walk).
2. Switch lines to the Wirral Line and take a train to James Street (10mins journey) which is only a 10 min walk to the ACC.
3. Take a taxi straight to the ACC straight from South Parkway, journey time 30 mins.

Please allow an additional 20mins onto your journey time for these transfers. For more information please visit www.networkrail.co.uk/lcr . National Rail will have more station staff on hand to help with the transfers at Liverpool South Parkway.
